Can't sync passwords or bookmarks
I just got a new laptop running Windows 8.1 and tried to sync my desktop with my laptop. However, after entering my information into the new sync, nothing has happened. I get a notification that syncing will begin momentarily, but nothing seems to come up. Upon reviewing previous questions about this issue, I've included my logs if this will help.

Try to disconnect from Sync and reconnect to the Firefox account. You can verify that the signedInUser.json file in the profile folder is removed and otherwise remove this file yourself. You can remove the weave folder as well. You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

You can also try to delete the Firefox account and create it again.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
