screen tearing when scrolling

more options

I just installed Firefox 35.0.1 on Vista SP2 x86 connected to a HDTV (1080p) and when I scroll I got screen tearing. With chrome this is not an issue.

HI DancingDirty7, Which screen is tearing? The tv screen or the computer?

There are two settings that we can check in order to create a work around. One, open up the options menu > Go to Advanced > then uncheck scrolling acceleration. Restart the browser and reconnect the computer to the tv. This will reset the display.

Please also make sure that your graphics driver is up to date:

Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL
