just did update of Adobe flash still shows needs updated in "check your plugins" site
button is still red after doing download of newest Flash version TWICE...it says this: Shockwave Flash 16.0 r0 vulnerable 16.0.0.296 Update Now
Also I got a message of potentially unsafe version of Java was being blocked and did I want to continue blocking it this is what I have:

16.0.0.296 is the most current on https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html and is indeed vulnerable though in next day the 16.0.0.305 may be there.
However if you have automatic updates enabled in Adobe Flash player it should give you the new update 16.0.0.305
