Firefox 37.0.2 selectively remembers, what I tell it to remember.
Not just FF37, but for a couple of years now, Firefox selectively remember form entries. Specifically my bank card/credit number. This is for 6 different sites. I enter my card number, check the box on the website to remember the card number, and it will remember it for a few visits, maybe up to a half dozen visits. Then all of a sudden, I will visit the site, and the box is empty, with no card number in it. Now I can see if it always remembered it, or never remembered it, but why the heck does it suddenly decide that it wants nothing to do with a number left in an entry field on a website? I am the only person that uses this computer, so there is no one else playing around with any settings. This is the only problem that I encounter while I use Firefox, but it is so annoying to have to dig through papers in the drawer, to find a bank account number, that one of these days I feel it will drive me to another browser. Please help, Thank You.

Firefox normally wouldn't store a credit card number because there is a check done to detect such a number (Luhn algorithm), so if this works at all then you might have been lucky.
Autocomplete data expires, but it should last longer than a few days (browser.formfill.expire_days = 180).
Note that Firefox won't auto-fill form data if the website is using autocomplete=off on the field, so you may have to type the first letters and use the cursor Down key to select the entry from the drop-down list.
