I thought this was a message board where you could get answers from Mozilla personnel. After all, they built the product, they should know how it works. If this isn't it can anyone tell me if one exists where you can ask Mozilla?

This forum is pretty much staffed, if that's the word, by volunteers. If you're unlucky, your message isn't seen and gets displaced off the bottom of the list. Nevertheless, it is the recommended place to ask questions. Feel free to bump if you feel your message has been overlooked.

All Address Books is a change introduced in TB38 and I think the loss of the ability to remember which address book you were using is an unintentional change. I know it's being worked on and I would expect it to be fixed in the next release. It sounds like an easy thing to fix, but the talk between developers reveals the complications arising from managing new columns in the Contacts Sidebar and also support of remote or external address books.

I see no solution! I want "personal address"only.

Any update on that, as it it now several months later and still no resolution. I'm hopeful, but less so.

I deleted all the addresses in all folders except "personal" so now only "personal " addressed open.

TB 38.3.0 ... problem still not fixed. Staying with TB 31.7
