This was raised back on 14/01/14 and the person eventually said it had fixed itself by May 2014. I have never been able to watch ABC iView on Firefox on my Mageia #4.1 (Linux) system. I have only been trying to watch iView this year. It works fine in Google.

I get the similar error msg to the original poster (Also see my attached screen dump image):

"Ooops.. The video you are trying to watch is unavailable: http://iviewmetered-vh.akamaihd.net/z/playback/_definst_/class/PG.mp4/manifest.f4m?hdcore=true&hdnea=st=1400326544~exp=1400336543~acl=/*~hmac=bb6e062439bea1ea51245e574dcdd36b978181747d6bed9cc2c7c59b7f8ebfc9"

I restarted FF in Safe Mode but ABC iView still didn't work!

Hello Chris,

This behavior can be triggered by corrupt cookies and cache.

Follow the easy steps below to clear your browsing cookies and cache:

1. Tap the "menu" button and select "Settings" 2. Tap "Privacy" and choose "Clear private data" 3. Put a check mark next to the items you want to clear and then tap "Clear data"

Hope this helps!

Well I eventually found where you you were meaning, but there is no "Settings" but there is "Preferences". Anyway, cleared all iView.ABC.net.au cookies, entered iView site, tried to watch an episode of a program - same result!
