Add a website to the bookmark bar?

So, I just installed Windows 10 and quickly learned the new "Edge" is not for me. I downloaded and installed FireFox. Firefox imported my Internet Explorer settings including the bar that had a selection of my favorite websites. They seem to work fine. I tried to add a new one to the bar but I can't get Firefox to add a website. How to do that? I took a screenshot of what I'm talking about, but this site does not seem to want to upload it.

Sorry about the screenshot problem. It might be easier to attach it to a reply to yourself.

You can add a bookmark to the Bookmarks Toolbar in a few different ways:

  • Ctrl+d - this calls up Add/Edit Bookmark and you can change the location from Bookmarks menu to Bookmarks Toolbar
  • Double-click the star icon on the main toolbar - same dialog as Ctrl+d, but defaults to "Unsorted Bookmarks"
  • drag and drop the "site identity button" which is the globe/padlock to the left of the URL of the page

Do any or all of those work for you?
