I have uninstalled, Refrehsed, Reinstalled, used Revo and Iobit uninstallers, Rebooted, Scanned for malware with Mbam, Hitman, Adwcleaner etc. Computer is clean. Even tried beta FF. The addons website for FF is only words. I cannot install Adblock it says connection is reset. I open anything in Chrome it is all fine. I am running Windows 10 64 bit but FF was fine after I upgraded and fine on my other machines. Any suggestions?

Do you use Avast, BitDefender, ESET or Kaspersky security software?

And.... Just like that Disabling Avast fixed it. I fill like a noob. Thanks! Now to figure out how to use Avast and FF.

I think reinstalling Avast should update Firefox. But if not, you only need to turn off the encrypted scan portion of the Web Shield, you can keep scanning non-secure connections. I saw these steps in another post:

1. Open the Avast dashboard on the affected system.
2. Select Settings from the left sidebar menu.
3. Switch to Active Protection.
4. Click on Customize next to Web Shield.
5. Uncheck the "Enable HTTPS Scanning" option and click ok.
