Can't save the dictionary preferences

I have both Italian and British English dictionaries installed. (I also have Italian and British language packs installed.)

Before release 38.2.0, if I choose the Italian dictionary for spell-checking an email, it remained set even for the following one, and vice versa. So I could write a bunch of email in every language without changing my preference.

Now I can no more: every new email starts with the British dictionary set, regardless what I previously chose.

Is there a workaround to cope with this annoying new bug?

Thanks a lot for every replay!
