Missing e-mails when copying Windows profile

I was migrating the profile of user from Windows 7 to Windows 8. All the e-mails of the user was inside this profile, and the copy run ok.

The user was using Thunderbird normally, and, suddenly, all the recent e-mails were gone.

Rebuild the Inbox folder didn't solve it. We were forced to use the backup that we have, but the recent e-mails were lost.

Is there a problem with this kind of copy? Is there a Thunderbird problem? We really don't know how to recover the e-mails.....

An important point is that the account is configured to use POP3.

Hi! If you upgraded the operating system to a newer, we recommend that desisntale Mozilla current Thunderbid and download this https://mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all/ version choosing the language and operating system and use backup to recover.

But is important to say that I have not upgraded the OS, but it was a brand new computer with Windows 8 already installed.

O idioma deste fórum é o português e o ideal é que somente ele seja usado, mas caso prefira, temos o fórum em Inglês também.

eu não tinha prestado atenção. Falta um pouco de organização da Mozilla nesses fóruns de suporte. A minha intenção era postar no fórum em inglês, mas acabei fazendo-o aqui.

Victor, lamento que foi redirecionado a área de suporte no idioma errado. Estou encaminhando uma sugestão à Central da Mozilla informando sobre a organização do portal de suporte. Aliás, já pensava em fazer isso, porque também estou enfrentado problemas similares, apesar de conseguir resolver por conta própria isso. Agradeço o seu contato!
