why is force enable zoom not working?

Firefox Android force enable zoom does not zoom with double tap on most websites. I tried Chrome on the same sites and it zooms. Font is too small to read without zoom override. It used to work fine. Drudge works. ESPN does not. Politico does not. NYT does not. Most links from drudge won't zoom.

There's no rhyme or reason.... You need to try all the different kinds of addons... Some work in some places others dont.

As for a native solution in the phone itself go to Home.. Settings.. Display make your font larger.. Then hit back button once scroll down to bottom of settings page tap on Accessibility and enable The large font... That's what I do... But it can get too big! ..
