Firefox crashes

Changed settings on firefox to not save cookies and be more restrictive. Shut down then restarted firefox and had blank screen, touched screen then went to "not responding". removed and reinstalled Firefox at least 6 times, same result. will start in safe mode sometimes when try to open. Plug ins come up and it says adobe is not upgraded. click on it to upgrade and crashed. will not respond to any commands in menu with out crashing. Reinstalled acrobat reader DC several times. Event report Faulting application name: plugin-container.exe, version: 42.0.0.5780, time stamp: 0x5632d0a4 Faulting module name: mozglue.dll, version: 42.0.0.5780, time stamp: 0x5632ba58 Exception code: 0x80000003 Fault offset: 0x0000ed50 Faulting process id: 0x14b8 Faulting application start time: 0x01d13294fa0d1a83 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\plugin-container.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\mozglue.dll Report Id: 38ec13fa-9e8a-11e5-a3e6-d850e64d28ce Cannot resolve this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that start with "bp-":

  • bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

You can find the report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help > Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support).

  • click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.

Alternatively you can open about:crashes via the location/address bar.
