Verizon (in Florida at least) is transferring all email to AOL servers but keeping existing addresses unchanged. I made the switch successfully by setting up a new Tbird account, unfortunately with the same name. New AOL servers are IMAP whereas Verizon's were POP. Removed original account because Tbird complained about having two with same name. New profile is same file name as old one except I cannot import any of the old mail (which is still there). I presume difficulty is POP v. IMAP but not sure. Any suggestions as to how, or if, I can recover the old emails?
