firefox keeps on randomly crashing, the crash itself is just the firefox window closing - no error message is shown. i've tried re installing firefox, and refreshing it (as suggested in this site). i'm currently running only 1 ad block extension, but even when it's removed firefox crashes,

i'm running win10 and ff 44 x64.

Thanks, David.

Sorry you are having problems. I agree there is no point in continuing to use a browser that crashes and does not display properly.

What about trying the standard Firefox 32 bit version does that work better for you.

The 64bit version of Firefox is new for Windows, and is not yet offered by default. If you see no problem in 32 bit but a problem in 64 bit Firefox you could consider filing a bug (We can help with that.) so that developers are aware there is an issue that needs looking at.

Regardless of the graphics issue, apparently getting a silent crash is anther issue probably needing investigating. Did you look for crash reports in about:crashes ?
