Why is TB suddenly using the wrong "from" address in emails?

I've had problems configuring gmail and TB to play nicely together, but for about a week it all seemed to be solved. Now suddenly this morning, when I send an email from the default email address (kelly@account1.gmail) it is sent as if it is coming from the non-default email address (kelly@account2.gmail). When I send an email from the non-default email, the "from" field is correct. I've tried making different accounts default, and I've tried using the Correct Identity add-on, but it doesn't make a difference. Any help would be VERY appreciated.

Each gmail account needs to be using its own SMTP server. I suspect that the kelly@account1.gmail account is set to use the SMTP setting for kelly@account2.gmail.

Open the incoming account's settings, and in the top page, "Account Settings", check what is entered in the box labelled "Outgoing Server (SMTP)". The kelly1 account needs to refer to kelly1 in the smtp box.

If you can't tell which is which, you probably need to go to the last account in the Account Settings page, select "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" there and review the "description". To change it you'll need to select and click on "Edit". Then when you have distinctive names, go back to select the appropriate SMTP server/account in the incoming account's settings.

Gmail don't tell you they are going to do it, but they silently swap the "from" address to the one that "belongs" to the smtp account being used for sending.
