firefox 48+ not working in selenium 2.53.1

i am selenium 2.53.1 for automation tool creation, selenium working fine for firefox 47.0.1, but My firefox 47.0.1 crashed.So now i am using firefox 48.0.2 , but not working .

Hi, due to changes in Firefox, you'll need to use Selenium version 3 (currently in beta), with geckodriver.

Does Selenium 3 work with Fx48 ? see henry8866 said

I need to keep v47, since I am using Selenium webdrive 3 beta which currently doesn't work with v48.
