The Time.com site works fine in Chrome. Firefox displays the site as all text. Hopefully, it's an easy fix. Thx.

Great! So at least we know that Firefox is not blocked from loading those style rules when you visit time.com. The bad news is, I don't what actually is causing the page to appear unstyled (if that's the best characterization).

hi there. why? minimalism is hot today. go get yourself a red lumberjack shirt and you are done.

now really! go to the page, click the right mouse button on the page - view page info - media - uncheck "block images from widgets.outbrain.com"

go to the permissions tab and allow it to 1. load images 2. set cookies after that clean your cache.

if you already had done this, still try with cleaning your cache, who knows..

Thanks for the tips, especially the red lumberjack shirt. Unfortunately, still not working. Bummer.

The site seems to be built on a WordPress platform, pulling its style sheets from addresses on wp.com. Here's an example. Is your Firefox able to load this style sheet if you try visiting it directly?

A successful load is a wall of text starting with:

@charset "UTF-8";*,.gallery__buttons>button,body,

If you are having problems with secure connections, we should investigate that since it probably affects numerous sites and you should never need to make exceptions for mainstream sites.

or type in the address field about:config make a promise to your software that you will behave and be careful.

if you change something, be sure to remember exactly what.

on top, where the white field is, type in "images" and see if the value of "images.dither" is set to "auto"

now in the same field, type in "javascript" and make 2 screenshots (more if you need to) so we can see the values of the settings.

Thank you both for the help, but this is too much for my neanderthal brain... think I'll just switch to Chrome.

I can simplify my comment: click this link, tell me what happens:

Thanks. I get a page of text starting with:

@charset "UTF-8";*,.gallery__buttons>button,body,button.time-icons{-webkit-font-smoothing:antialiased}.netflix-icons

Just want to say thanks for your efforts. For some reason, the site is now loading perfectly. I'm going to roll with it.

Cheers!
