Find I am now on release 49.0.2 of Firefox and it has deleted all my saved login/password data. The current login.json file contains only a single recently-created login entry. Also this json file is formatted differently from a recently saved such file, so that file is useless.

Also, I had installed a few days ago the extension Febeebe and configured it to save such things; Febe is now disabled and appears to be incompatible with current Firefox.

This appears to be a case of improving Firefox while failing to include a path to migrate saved login/password data.

Apparently FEBE did have issues with Fx49.0.2 but that has been fixed in a recent point release of FEBE.8.9.3.1 I do not normally use FEBE but tested it because of a Sumo Question

What version did you have before?

There are some reviews indicating that you might have better luck downgrading your FEBE back to the previous version by installing the older version from the Versions page:

(I don't use FEBE myself, so can't give you first-hand info on that issue.)

Also, any chance your Firefox performed a Refresh? The tell-tale sign would be a new Old Firefox Data folder on your desktop. Inside would be your old settings file with your previous logins.json file. The modification date on the frequently updated files in that folder (such as places.sqlite) would be the best indication of when the Refresh occurred.

I use Febe. Once you have re-installed it;

Press the arrow next to the Febe icon and select Restore. Then select what you want.
