The youtube video player API sucks, is there a way to force my android's firefox to play youtube videos using it's native player?

Currently, this is what youtube videos look like on my android tablet:

I noticed when I watch watching a local mp4 video in my firefox browser on the adroid tablet, it has a completely different player:

My question is:

Is there a way to force all players, or at least youtube, to play videos using this version of the browser's built-in mp4 player?
