new ff user here. want to share web pages. followed ff help instructions: selected gmail to associate with the "share page" icon. when i click the "share page" icon, i do not see any gmail icon or anything else. instead a box opens with the usual "working on it" graphic, which fails after plenty of time to change, so i clicked the settings icon in the upper left hand of this box and it opened two tabs: "about:addons" (says "you do not have any add ons of this type installed"), and "data:text/plain;charset=utf8," (just a blank page)

update to the above: clicked gmail "activate now" button on https://activations.cdn.mozilla.net/en-US/ which gave https://activations.cdn.mozilla.net/en-US/gmail.html where I clicked the "activate now" button which I think did associate the gmail icon with the "share page" icon. That is, the gmail icon appears in the "share page" pop up box and the gmail "compose email" box opens with the desired web page link therein. I specify recipient, click send, then note that there is a new tab to the right of this compose tab "data:text/plain;charset=utf8," which is blank. I wonder why it is there? Looks like a glitch to me.
