As the title says, I can´t change the size of my search- and addressbar anymore. I´m using firefox quantum and it worked when I first installed it on my pc, but doesn´t anymore and never did on my tablet-pc.

Does anyone know a solution?

I found the solution: Removing all symbols/extensions between the address- and searchbar will let you customize it´s length. After that you can put the addons back and the bars will keep their relative length.

Go to the 3 bar menu --> Customize --> Density --> Compact. That significantly reduces the size of both the address bar and search bar.

It reduces the size, yes. But what I meant was that you could click and drag on the very right/left side of each bar to increase/decrease the length of it. This doesn´t work anymore for some reason.

That is not native functionality in Firefox. You probably used an extension for that that is now disabled due to it being a legacy extension. Confirm this in your Add-ons Manager (Ctrl + Shift + A or 3 bar menu --> Add-ons --> Legacy Extensions
