Can I configure the browser to directly download sound files instead of previewing them first?

more options

When downloading certain sound files, the browser opens a preview tab, and I should wait it to load to save the file which takes a lot of time on low internet speed(which is the typical speed in my area). Try to download a song from musicpleer.bz on firefox and on chrome and you'll see the difference.

If you click a direct link to a media file, Firefox may try to play it in its own tab. This is called the "stand alone" player. To disable the stand-alone player, you can try this:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste alone and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the media.play-stand-alone preference to switch the value from true to false

Does that set Firefox to do what you want it to do?
