tabs not over laying previous tab

more options

when I try to open a book marked tab, in this instance ebay it opens as a sidebar to the tab/page I had opened previously.

i would upload a screenshot but the file size limit is ridiculously small

Using Firefox screenshot only takes pic of 1 side even if using full screen view option

Hi Zalzan, could you check this:

Right-click the bookmark, and choose Properties, then look for a checkbox toward the lower left for opening in the sidebar:

<center></center>

If you uncheck that box, click Save, then try the bookmark again, does it work normally?

This box might be checked if you use a link or button in a website to add a bookmark. If you bookmark it yourself using the "star" icon at the right end of the address bar, then this shouldn't happen.
