how to I tell tb to remove emails from IMAP after they are downloaded to local drive?
Have IMAP accounts and TB set to snyc so that I have the files locally. How to I have tb auto-delete the emails that have been downloaded from the IMAP server? Thx.

What part of sync with the server did you miss? remove it from the server and Thunderbird will sync that as well. IMAP is not POP. Please read about the two protocols so you can adjust your expectations.
