Hi communty, I have been experienced crashes in tabs (Firefox Quantum 63.0). The "crash reason" is always the same (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ) and happends randomly. I leave here the most recents crashes.....

Hi Franzkrauzer, sorry to hear about the crashes and thank you for the reports.

The Firefox 63 reports are related to executing scripts and cleaning up memory. Do you recall any particular site where these problem occur or any pattern to it?

The Firefox 62 reports are related to graphics operations. I'm going to ignore those for now, but if you see similar signatures with Firefox 63, we could consider whether it's an Nvidia compatibility issue, or you could try disabling Firefox from using hardware acceleration, which reduces reliance on your graphics card. This article shows where to find that setting: Firefox's performance settings.

Hi, thank you for your answer: I didnt found a pattern on this crashes and seems to be random. As you say, i disable the "hardware acceleration" on firefox but got a new crash one hour after when I tried to enter on youtube

unfortunately such a random crash pattern often is a symptom of faulty hardware/memory. you could use a tool like www.memtest.org in order to check the integrity of your ram and in case it comes up with bad sectors replace any faulty modules.

I ejecuted RAM scans with memtest86+ and windows memory diagnostic and found no errors, this night im gonna leave ejecuting memtest86+ for a couple more rounds just to be sure...

You can try to disable some special Nvidia components.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
