deleted contact in Collected addressbook reappears
I try to delete an obsolete contact. I deleted the contact in all the address books and verified that the contact is gone. However, the contact reappears after sometime, in the address book that I removed it. Apparently the address book is the one of the collected email addresses. It seems that the address book keep updating all the email address found in the inbox although the email address is never been used again. Is there a way to solve the problem? This problem is annoying because the obsolete contact appears in the auto complete list and I may have sent an email to the wrong contact. Thanks in advance for your response.

There is one collected addresses address book. it collects addresses when you send your mail out. ie of people you are contacting. I suggest you turn that option off and see if it still reappears.
Options > composition > Addressing

Thanks for you answer. The problem is indeed coming from the "collected addresses address book". But I cannot turn off the option because I need the other addresses in the book. The unwanted address keep coming up as if the "collected address book" keep scanning the existing mails and adds the unwanted address in existing mail.
I continue to have this problem and it's driving me nuts because I often choose the deleted as opposed to the current address for my contact and it doesn't work. I have one contact that keeps changing his email and the list grows longer and longer in the autofill process. There MUST be a way to fix this!
