I have been syncing my aol email with Thunderbird for years. (Don't laugh re aol).

Overnight, all of my emails in my inbox disappeared within Thunderbird, but they are still there on the aol server (webmail).

The sub-folders continue to be populated and up to date, but NO emails are in the inbox.

The only error message that shows in the bottom right corner is "The current operation did not succeed. The mail server for account ___ responded [TryCreate] select error. Folder does not exist or server encountered an error.

I've tried to repair the folder in Thunderbird. I've tried deleting the .msf file. Nothing has worked.

I can't seem to figure out what the problem could be.

Ideas?
