Could you show a picture of this? I'm on darkmode in 71 and see my bookmarks are dark as well. Have you tried cycling the theme under customize to light then back to dark to see if it makes the browser dark again? Unless I'm misunderstanding.
As for the rightclick menu and drop downs being dark, was that due to a userChrome.css you had installed on FF70?
