Hi, I am running Mojave 10.14.6 and Firefox used to run. Suddenly without reason it fails to load, it jumps up and down in the doc and then fails to load with no crashing reports and I cannot find any reason why. I have reinstalled it, updated Mac security patches, tried to run the app in safe mode and also the Mac in safe mode, but nothing works. It only works if I log out and log back in with a guest account. Any help is welcome.

Guest account is likely using a different Firefox profile. If you can get it run in your regular user account, go to about:profiles create a new profile, and set it as default. Close Firefox and then start it again. See if the issues persist.

There can also be permission issues, so check that as well.

Did you try a clean reinstall and drag the current Firefox installation to the Trash ?

Thanks crankygoat but I can’t even get it to launch to be able to change profile. Also I completely deleted and reinstalled it from my Mac profile so it shouldn’t be logged into any Firefox profile. Besides, in my guest account it’s not logged into any profile...any suggestions?

Thank you cor-el but I have fully deleted the app with the AppCleaner app. Any other suggestions welcome.
