What steps to take before reformatting C drive to retain all data and logons
Firefox 71.0 32 bit. Recovery Key Recorded. Sync up to date. Profile Backed up to D Drive Win 7 Ultimate. User Profile Corrupt. C drive needs reformatting before Fresh install of Win 7 Ultimate. Do I need do anything else before the Format?

If possible, it's always best to try to backup your Firefox profile folder. See Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles.
Firefox Sync should be able to reload your data if the data is stored on there, but Firefox Sync isn't intended to be a data backup service and sometimes works very unreliably as one.
