All tabs do this or only specific sites?

Lets say I start a search in google. I search for the BBC. In google search, the blue loading dot does not appear (and if so for a brief second) . Once I found the BBC site, and click to access the site, then the page will load, however not completely, maybe 99%, and the blue moving dot appears on the tab. I can surf the page fine but the blue moving dot gets annoying.

So yes, mostly all tabs.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

• switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
• do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing the problem by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change via one of these:

• "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
• Windows: File -> Exit
• Mac: Firefox -> Quit Firefox
• Linux: File -> Quit

I have done the described steps. The pages load fully after restarting Firefox in safe mode or in normal mode. However the problem returns after a certain time when using the browser. I have no extensions installed and the default theme is active. When the problem comes back and i restart firefox the pages will load fully and the blue loading dot will be gone. After a couple of hours or so while browsing the problem will return. Pages load fully function wise, however the last part will say "waiting for ...." and the page never loads fully, untill I restart the firefox.
