Hi there, I'm using Thunderbird version 78.3.2 which appears to be the latest version and ever since updating from I'm not sure which version, I've been having frequent issues with forwarded emails. Often the recipient of the forward complains that they can't see the contents of the forward because it is missing. I believe I have isolated this to Thunderbird corrupting some parts of the original email as it forwards it. I've attached part of the HTML source of one of the messages I've had a problem with. I can see that in the original message that I received there is a proper style block with the html comment code <!-- -- >properly enclosing a number of styles. However in the code that is received after I forward this in Thunderbird, there is partially missing styles and the close tag of -- > is not there. This is then viewed by some mail clients as a comment that never closes which causes all content to appear missing. Interestingly, both Thunderbird and Microsoft Outlook Pro Plus ignore this error and display things ok but I've been able to see the missing content in multiple mobile email clients I have tested (Blackberry Hub, Samsung stock email app, gmail app - all on Android OS) Why is Thunderbird doing this? Is there something I can do to fix this or is this a bug that needs to be fixed in an update. Thanks!
