Before the most recent FF update all links I clicked on in a search results page would automatically open in a new tab for each seperate site. Now the links always open in the same tab, which means I can't navigate to research effectively. I've been through all the Options with no solution found. Am using Windows 10. I know I can make a seperate click to open a new window or tab each time, but it is much more user-friendly for new tabs to open automatically. Thanks.

Hi Annie, Firefox's built-in feature diverts only certain kinds of links to a new tab: the ones the website targeted to open in a new window.

Many search sites have a setting to target links to open in a new window or tab. For example, if you use Google, it's under "Where results open" on the following page:

https://www.google.com/preferences

If you can't find the setting on your preferred search site, we might be able to help you find it.
