Do you hate the 'improved' menu spacing and tab sizes too?

Yes everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for somebody with weak vision is nightmare every change in layout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is nothing to like about the new look , its bloody aweful in every aspect . ooh , the security measures are appreciated , even though they should have been better in the 1st place . all ff do is tinker here and there ,put the same crap more than once ( 3 bookmark this page , seriously , 1 will do ). a poncey white line to highlight the page im looking at , i dont need a bloody white line to tell me that , im looking at the page . tabs to big , tabs still ontop ,how long have we been asking for them to be below ? and still above .fire fox service is shyte , it cares nothing for its users like it used to and the changability has gone . the designers or whoever ok'd this new look should be shot twice , just to make sure after all firefox likes to double up

Saw this on Reddit. This worked for me (for the menu spacing):

In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

In the search box in the page, type or paste proton.

Double-click browser.proton.contextmenus.enabled switch the value from true to false.

WARNING: There are plans to remove this preference in the next two months The preference setting was created as a toggle for developers when building the new design. Now that the new interface has shipped, the preference will be removed.

If you have any issues with the new design, please let us know what it is you don't like, and we can try provide more permanent solutions depending on the issue.

unfortunately I am using firefox portable for which refresh does not work. although i hate chrome i consider switching to. at least the gmail is readable with it!
