Opening Firefox from a link restores previous session. Opening from Menu doesn't.

more options

I've been using Firefox on Ubuntu since years ago, I use Firefox Sync and I have the browser configured to always restore previous session.

Some days ago I installed KDE desktop (I don't know if it has something to do with the issue) but since then, if I open Firefox from the panel or the KDE menu, it neither restore the previous session nor logs in Firefox Sync.

Either if I leave that new window open or not, If I click a http/https link, for example, from a Thunderbird email, it will open a new Firefox window with the last session and Firefox Sync logged in.

So, if I want to start with the last session tabs, I must open Firefox from an external link.

What can be the reason?

Thanks in advance!

Well, my first message wasn't accurate enough. Looks like the issue only happens when opening from then anchored icon in panel, but not from menu, so it must be something related to KDE.
