The latest update of Mozilla Firefox to version 119 x64bit for Windows 10 seems to have peculiar problem. With this update my browser is not allowing to print a page or webpage with print option as "Save to PDF". The print preview of the page is shown with all settings but on clicking print button there has been no file got save or rather no file PDF or anything else gets create. In the same computer both Microsoft Edge and Brave Browser are allowing saving of any rendered page in their browser to save as PDF. This issue is recognized by me after my latest update of Mozilla Firefox. However, the same version of Mozilla Firefox x32bit running in my Windows 7 32 bit machine working correctly. I have tried all the options recommended over internet in this regard by Mozilla forum and others but nothing had worked for me. Even adding of any third party add-ons also remain defunct in this latest Mozilla Firefox browser. This is a serious bug and should be corrected as early as possible and therefore putting this herewith seeking a functional solution.

Your screenshot shows saving to the Desktop, try saving to the Downloads folder instead.

Right-click an image, choose "Save Image As" and see if that works.

Are there any errors in the Browser Console (Ctrl+Shift+J) when saving?

Hi Zeroknight,

I appreciate your reply. But the problem is not about saving to the desktop. Even if I tried to save a web page as save to PDF in other locations too then also the same error creeps up. Also, it is not about save as image. If any content is downloaded, let it be image or PDF, the file gets saved. The problem arise when I use the print option in firefox to save any rendered page as pdf or rather say generate PDF, the same does not work. In fact, if I try to print any page say PDf or any other format docs or pages directly from firefox, it doesn't work. From other browser in the same machine with Windows 10 Pro as OS, all these functionalities works. This is something very peculiar I observed with firefox. I have another desktop with Windows 7 and firefox version 115, I can do all the above-mentioned tasks seamlessly. I tried to install even firefox version 115 here check, but no success in achieving my goal. I can't blame OS too as all other browsers viz. MS Edge, Brave etc. are functioning fully and successfully in this machine without any glitches. A solid solution will be great help and highly anticipated.

Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile.

What Firefox version do you use ? Do you possibly have the MSIX Firefox version from the Microsoft Store ?
