Downloaded Firefox Installer seems to be from 2018
I‘m somewhat uncertain: I downloaded the Firefox Installer from (I believe) Mozilla.org via Edge. When I tried to Upload the file to VirusTotal I got errors first and it only worked after restarting the laptop.
The file hadn‘t been analyzed so far (which surprised me), 1 out of 72 scanners claimed to have found a Trojan but what bothered me more was that according to VirusTotal the file was compiled in 2018 with Microsoft Visual C/C++ 12.00.8168. It was also somewhat smaller than the last Installer I downloaded (342kb vs. 390kb), although both should be version 18.05.
So I‘m a little concerned if the downloaded file is legitimate?

As an addition, the file is named 7zS.sfx.exe while the last time it was named 7zSD.sfx.
There are a few antivirus clients on VirusTotal that tends to have the occasional false positives over the years due to 7-Zip being used. More so with the small online stub installer vs the full offline setups for Windows even though 7z was used for a looooong time now.
If you download from say mozilla.org page with a browser on Windows, then you will likely get served the small online stub installer.
You can get the full offline setups of current Firefox Release for Windows from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release and from https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/120.0.1/win64/
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, it definitely was the online Installer. I was mainly concerned why VirusTotal said the file was compiled in 2018 and the file differs from the last Installer I downloaded although both claim to be version 18.05.
Are there possible legitimate reasons for that?
