Hi, I installed the new update yesterday. This morning, I cannot access anything through my usual Firefox browser. I'm making this report from Google - which is working fine on the same computer. When I try to access any websites, the usual tab opens with a greyed-out "X" (or hourglass?) on the left of the tab - then nothing happens. I've tried restarting - no luck. I suspect yesterday's update was flawed/had a glitch. Please help.

What Windows OS are you on since the System Details show Windows 7, but you posted with a Google Chrome Windows 10 user agent?

  • Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/109.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Check that you do not run Firefox in compatibility mode. You can open the Properties of the Firefox desktop shortcut via the right-click context menu and check the "Compatibility" tab. Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
