Firefox is unable to open certain html links
On our organisations website we have recently started to use htmls as another source of communication, eg via email etc. These html docs have then been loaded onto the website as a new page.
For one of the htmls, Firefox just will not open it. The link is clicked and nothing happens, nor can it bo opened in a new tab or a new window.
In the other of the html docs, Firefox will open it but the formatting in the page is changed.
Both links work perfectly in Internet Explorer.
Could this have something to do with the version of html I am using or the CSS in the html? Any other suggestions?

Both of those URLs load fine here. Was it certain links in those pages that don't work?
Hi
yes, the page that does not load at all is the Henry attached as a screenshot.
The other page that opens with distorted formatting is this one http://www.anglicare.asn.au/FINAL2010Budgetfastfacts.htm.
Thanks
Seems to be working fine here.
The last two sections (Income Adequacy and Housing Affordability) on http://www.anglicare.asn.au/Henrye-bulletin_web.htm have all paragraphs embedded in a named anchor that makes them show blue.
<a name="Income Adequacy">The Henry Review recognised that to live in Australia and to be included as an equal part of its society there are certain levels of adequacy that need to be met: adequacy of income, housing, employment opportunity and security, among others. Anglicare Australia would go a step beyond this and include the capability to add value to society intrinsically through the roles that we undertake rather than solely through the dollars that we generate. Government has not yet addressed these fundamental aspects of social inclusion in its plan to reform Australia’s tax system.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes). See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window. You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")
Thanks so much. I am not sure why I can suddenly start viewing it now and couldn't before but that seems to have remedied itself. As to the distorted formatting, I did have the name anchor incorrect, thanks for picking it up.
Thanks so much for your help, its much appreciated for those of us still learning.
Michelle
You're welcome.
There are still problems with not closed anchor tags in the H1 tags (missing </a>) that cause text to be blue. http://www.anglicare.asn.au/Henrye-bulletin_web.htm
"The Government and the Review" anchor tag ends with the "Living without shame" link.
<h1></a>The Government and the Review<a name="The Government and the Review"></h1>
Should be:
<h1></a>The Government and the Review<a name="The Government and the Review"></a></h1>
The same for the other named anchor tags.
<h1>Income Adequacy<a name="Income Adequacy"></a></h1>
<h1>Housing Affordability<a name="Housing Affordability"></a></h1>
There is also an error in the last link:
<a href="http://www.anglicare.asn.au">www.anglicare.asn.au<a/>
Should be:
<a href="http://www.anglicare.asn.au">www.anglicare.asn.au</a>
