This didn't happen when I used alpha release 4 but happened when I upgraded to alpha 5.


This happened

A few times a week

Viewing flash-based objects.

User Agent

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a5pre) Gecko/20100527 Minefield/3.7a5pre

Check the file with common multi-AV scanners such as VirusTotal and Jotti Virusscan.

If those fail to detect a virus in all but AVG, its a false positive. You can report this to AVG. See http://forums.avg.com/us-en/avg-free-forum?sec=thread&act=show&id=395

You could report this issue to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org but since its just in a nightly, I doubt there will be too much concern.

Binaries for release versions are checked / white-listed with AV vendors before release, or they are cleared because they are signed.

After install of update AVG 9 states its active with toobar but will not display toolbar
