Firefox blocks popups even tho I have unchecked that box causing it to hang in some applications.
I unchecked the "block popups" under tools but Firefox continues to block them causing it not to function properly with some applications which require popup windows.

Do you have an add-on or some other program on your computer that is blocking pop-ups as well?
Can you point us a webpage where you are experiencing the problem?
I have the same problem, it just started recently and is affecting my ability to pay for items using Paypal and also from logging into my Nochex account.
turned off all add-ons and still happening on all versions of firefox
btw I use a Mac
