I have the same problem too - every time I try to view a clip Firefox wants ONLY to download Adobe Flash Player although Real Player is set as main default player. Now I can't download video clips any more.

this happened the last time fire fox updated. Why don't you guys get it right before releasing the new updates. No one has posted a solution. Any help here? R U working on the problem?

Real does not "get it right" before Firefox releases.

Real is always, it seems, late in releasing updates for new browser updates. They are given the same opportunity during the Firefox pre-release testing as other developers to be sure that their products will work with new Firefox releases.

But, alas, always the same problem!

I have tried to make the real player work by downloading the latest build, have un-installed both real and firefox and cleared the registry of both, then downloaded latest versions of both and still no "Download this video" button on any source. It works great on IE8.......so whats the issue with firefox The only reason I have firefox is for video.

One possible solution, which is what I ended up doing, was to un-install real-player, install google chrome then reinstall real-player and hey presto!! it worked.. my download button was there.

There is a new version of RealPlayer that is supposed to correct the problem; see (read next to the big red "A"): http://real.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7303/p/3/c/2222/r_id/119487

The fix apparently is https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/forum/1/706174

type about:config in the address bar Then in the filter box type dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npswf32.dll.

Then change the value to false.

Restart FireFox

PLEASE TELL ME HOW CAN I DOWNLOAD BY USING REAL ONE PLAYER THROUGH MOZILA

more options

There is no way. When I want to download via real player I use Internet Explorer. Mozilla is always lacking and never includes real player download capabilities in it's upgrades. The Mozilla programmers should fix this.
