My MacBook pro crashed and I was able to recover the firefox bookmarks. On my new Macbook Pro i can either use the new bookmarks I added but if I import the old bookmarks I loose the new ones. The other Max is not working so Sync Add-On is not an option. How can I add the old bookmarks without losing the new ones?

Export your current bookmarks to an HTML file. See Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file to back up or transfer bookmarks.

Then restore the places.sqlite file from your old computer, and import the HTML file. See Import Bookmarks from an HTML file
