Firefox just auto upgraded to 3.6.6 and now it cannot access http://localhost:8888 I've never had this problem in the past. Offline mode has no affect (off or on) however, if I turn off my wireless I can access my local development site. I need to be able to access the internet while accessing my local site though so this is not a practical option. I know there is nothing wrong with the site because I can access it with another browser (Safari) without any issues. The error I am receiving when I try to access the localhost site tells me that Firefox is accessing my LAN and looking for localhost (why, I don't know) because it is being generated by the LAN server. == URL of affected sites == http://
