Downloads Improvement (Indicate Sites That Do Not Support Resume)

I'm generally quite happy with the stock Downloads pause/resume functionality but I encounter a site (not publicly accessible) that does not support getting a file from an arbitrary position as would be needed for Resume to work.

Can the download functionality be changed so pause/resume buttons are shown ONLY if the site supports resuming from an arbitrary position and show some other icon(s) to clearly indicate the site doesn't support the required functionality?

This would be a nice enhancement if it's fairly easy to implement and even if a bit difficult if such sites aren't all that rare it might still be worth adding this enhancement.

Thanks, JD

You can't always tell on before hand if a server supports resuming. If you start a very large download and want to be sure then you have to test it yourself to confirm that you can resume a paused download. You can also use an external download manager that may do its own check.
