What does the red text mean when I view the Page Source of a page I am developing?

more options

I am using Dreamweaver 8 to develop a simple web page. When I view the source code in Firefox, it marks mistakes (i think) in red text, like if i forgot to close some code. However, it also marks all the /'s red that Dreamweaver puts before closing a section of code. You can see my page at acoustiyah.com. View the page source in Firefox and you'll see what I mean. I can code this by hand without those slashes, but do I need to do that? Why are those forward slashes red? Thanks

This is only because Firefox does not believe those should be there. If you right click on the red lined letter or word and click add to dictionary the problem will not occur again.

Thanks For using Firefox!

Thanks Scott, So those slashes will not cause a problem in Google search rankings or something like that? There must be some reason that Firefox doesn't like them, right? Or is it just because the Firefox dictionary isn't expanded enough yet?
