Using Citadel email on Ubuntu server, insert attachment uses browser's Open file command. Trying to upload attachment Word file. Open file popup shows my drives file tree. It does not show three files created today. Hit refresh, Open file sends scroll bar to top. Scroll down, no new files. Hit Shift-refresh, no new files. Use IE to delete all, didn't help. Firefox delete all didn't help. Close all screens and do disc cleanup in windows, didn't help. Open new Firefox window alone without Citadel and use file - Open file, no new files. Use search file, no new files. So what gives?

I've got this, too, Firefox 4.0, running on openSUSE 11.4. No matter what I do, I can't see recently added files to a folder from the file save dialog.

However, at some point the last time this happened, it suddenly went away. But today it's back again. This is a REALLY irritating effect since I frequently save multiple pages of a Web site numbered "Page 01", "Page 02", etc. and clicking on the previous save avoids typing or pasting the whole page title again - not to mention simply the lack of where I'm at when saving a page.

This sort of thing makes me wonder about the Mozilla QA testing procoess. However, the fact that I and one other guy seem to be the only two humans out of millions of Firefox users who have this problem makes me wonder. There is almost nothing on Google about this. Does NO ONE else on the planet save Web pages?
