How do I switch your spellchecker off, or at least switch it to English and not American. I am British, I live in Britain and your application telling me, repeatedly, that my spellings are incorrect, when they are not, is offensive.

You can install the British English dictionary from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/british-english-dictionary/

Maybe this is the same issue, maybe not. My native language is English, and I also write Spanish and Greek. I've found how to install the Spanish and Greek dictionaries, but how do I switch between them? I can't find it in Options, and the FF knowledge base doesn't seem to have that information.

Rhoderick, if you prefer to turn the spell checker off, go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> General -> Browsing, and uncheck "Check my spelling as I type."

Thank you for taking the time to answer, however I cannot say if this is helpful, because there is nowhere to tell me how to go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> General -> Browsing, and switch off "Check my spelling as I type."
