while using the firefox browser, "new bookmarks" pop-up is constantly appearing, and interrupting my search. how do i stop this pop-up?

This popup is so annoying I stopped using Firefox! I tried singing up to Mozilla help and they have no info on this stupid gimmick.
I have this problem too. Is there any solution?
