It happened just recently, everytime I try to download a file, whether it be an image, or .exe or anything, it disappears. I know exactally where firefox saves my files too, in fact I'm in the folder when it's downloading. After downloading, it disappears quickly, and I try to open it in the firefox download box but it only has the option to go to the download site. Any help please?

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.

Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

I tried all of these steps and none of them worked. :/ It downloads the WHOLE file. But it disappears as soon as it's done. Like I can view the files being downloaded ex. .part files etc. But it continues to disappear.
